Oh, hi there, I didn’t see you come in. 

 

Uhhh….. right…

 

I’m a college student who happens to enjoy (and perhaps, be obsessed with, depending on your definition of “obsessed”) World of Warcraft. I’ve played since early 2005 and I’ve had a blast so far. 

 

As you might be able to guess, my main is a Balance Druid, or Moonkin. In fact, I rolled a Druid originally because I saw a Moonkin jumping up and down in the Stormwind canals. So despite large leveling stints as Feral and some tinkering with Resto (and I love both) I’ve settled on Balance for now. I think the avatar is the coolest playable one in game, and I really enjoy the gameplay. Even though we aren’t usually at the top of the list for DPS or group utility, I think Moonkins provide a real sense of fun and uniqueness to the game that I enjoy. I also like the idea of being Nature’s protector. Although I don’t role play, I suppose I like having a connection to my characters, and that is the one with my Druid.

 

I also have a level 70 Enhancement Shaman. I have tried Elemental, but I don’t enjoy the idea of casting Lightning Bolt over and over. From what I’ve seen, this might get changed significantly in Wrath, but until then I’m dual-wielding. 

 

I have lots of alts, but all of the high level ones are Alliance. I seem to have a hard time leveling Horde-side. I really like the stories and looks though. Go figure. Currently my highest-level alt is a level 54 Warlock which I’m half-trying to level to 70 before Wrath. We’ll see how that goes. 

 

I started this blog to just write about the thoughts I have regarding WoW and Moonkins in particular. I also enjoy the new challenge and fun from trying to set up something like this which is completely new for me.
